I love to dance and I LOVE music so this suggestion from a client of mine reminded me of a quote I read once that said “Why Be Moody When You Can Shake Your Booty?” Heck, maybe we can shake off worry, anxiety and social isolation through virtual dance parties?
This is a wild entry in my list, but one of my clients attended one of the fetes this past Saturday and she swears it was super fun and it got her dancing in her house and having a great time! So, if you need to dance, socialize online and love Soca music then this one’s for you!
Adjusting your “I AM” Daily Mantra
In my 1-on-1 Integrative Nutrition Coaching Sessions with my clients, I cover the concept “The Power of I Am.” It is about identifying who you are at your BEST.
The concept is taken from a sermon by Christian Pastor and NY Times Bestselling Author, Joel Osteen, and it was made popular by Oprah who shared it on one of her Lifeclasses on the Oprah Winfrey Network.

Some examples of I AM statements include:

And we may have had strong I Am statements for all of 2020 so far…. but the world has just changed in a huge way and we may need to adjust them! We want to use these statements as mantras and repeat them to ourselves in the morning when we wake up, in the middle of the day and at night before we sleep. They will help focus and direct the mind towards good feeling emotions, helpful consciousness, inner peace and mental/emotional strength, and might even boost your immunity! All of which are very important today.
Here are my new ones for these COVID-19 times – note that they do not have to be complicated!

I AM So Supported
Now it’s your turn….
I want you to remind yourself about who you are when you’re at your BEST and who you want to be. Dig deep to find the answer to the following question (in bold below) and then post these words up on your bedroom door, mirror or on your phone with an alarm to remind you of them at certain times of the day. A life of intentionality is a life well lived. Be intentional about who you are. Create who you are. Become the person you want to be.

Note that if you do a simple flip of the word order, you get the question “AM I?” – and that is where anxiety sets in! Be sure to live your life with an inner dialog that declares “I AM” from this day forward.
