So…I’ve just created a FUELLED menu for a new client for her special July 14th lunch event next week and I wanted to share it here with you…
Because it’s SERIOUSLY a HIGH PERFORMANCE PROFESSIONAL’s MENU.
BUT FIRST…a bit of background for everyone who’s new to the FUELLED FAMILY…
At FUELLED, every time you eat or drink, it’s an opportunity for you to power-up and infuse every cell of your body with life-giving nutrients.
We inspire you to eat foods that reinforce vital, healthy, strong and magnificent cells.
One of our mottos is to “Raise the Bar” every single day on your expectations of what food can do for you. Because it can do a lot more than fill your stomach so that you don’t feel hungry.
The daily goal of someone who is totally FUELLED and energized for life is to consume the foods that will help serve their body’s functions to the fullest. Foods that will bring it! These people are empowered with knowledge, they’re totally nourished and have stepped it up to create and sustain an optimal level of well-being. An optimal level of health, energy and vitality they might have thought previously unimaginable. They opt to UPLEVEL their nutrition every single moment they’re able to.
And my favourite part of all of this is that it can be so delicious. I mean, what’s a good life without delicious food? Right?
The best part of it all is that FUELLING your body is an absolutely delicious undertaking. It’s also about abundance. It’s about variety. It’s about satisfaction. It’s about gorgeous aromas drifting out of the kitchen and happy taste buds.
FUELLED is not about deprivation. It’s not about starvation. It’s not about being on a “die-t.” In fact, when you start eating more real, nutrient-rich foods, you will naturally start to “crowd out” other foods because you have filled up on the good stuff. As a result, most people see a drastic reduction in hunger pangs, cravings, and “snacksidents.” They already feel full and (physically and emotionally) satisfied.
And you don’t even have to go far to experience this new FUELLED culinary landscape, or spend loads of money. You can do it yourself at home in your kitchen and your local farmer’s markets and grocery and health food stores provide all the best ingredients you will ever need.
Healthy, life giving, energy producing foods are surprisingly easy to prepare and absolutely delicious to eat.
And, what is more convincing than pleasure?
So, if you don’t want to create all of this at home, I offer a private health food cheffing service where I take that philosophy – all of those SUPER HIGH STANDARDS – and create a health food menu for you and then chef it up.
My most recent request came from a new client who called me up with her date, number of guests (7-8), and idea in mind. An intimate SUMMERTIME PARTY. Her request was that I create a mostly vegan spread of dishes, except for 1 chicken dish, and she left it to me to decide what to create… and this is what I’ve created….

Powerhouse Turmeric Brown Rice with Sautéed Onions
Exotic Eggplant (Slow roasted & photographed above)
Roasted Napa Cabbage with Healing Curry Spices and Slivered Almonds OR Roasted Taco Red Cabbage with Chickpeas and Bright Green Apples
The Green Machine with Cashews (Sautéed broccoli, ginger root, kale, red onions, garlic, liquid aminos and roasted cashews)
Killer Kale Salad with Homemade Tahini Salad Dressing
Organic Chicken Tom Yum Soup with Garden Veggies (not vegan)

You NEVER EVER have to deprive yourself of deliciousness when you’re working with me!!
NOTE: I am not vegan, but 95% of everything I eat comes from plants and so my diet is very PLANT-RICH. I’m not against meat or seafood, in fact I love them (I will not cook pork however), but this is what a FUELLED vegan/plant-rich menu can look like.
Oh, in case you’re wondering, here is a definition of vegan:
“A vegan does not consume meat, dairy products, eggs, honey, or any product derived from an animal. A vegan diet can (and should) be full of a wide variety of delicious, nutritious foods, including vegetables, grains, nuts, legumes, seeds, and fruits. Vegans don’t wear leather, fur, silk, or wool. Many refuse to use products that are made with animal ingredients, products that are filtered using animal parts (such as some wines, beers, and white sugars), and products that have been tested on animals.”
So why does this matter to you?
FUELLED foods are incredibly beneficial for High Performance Professionals.
Yeah. There is a HUGE difference in how you show up to the world if you eat a menu like I’ve just shared, versus if you regularly eat standard take-out, restaurant fare, grocery store buffet food, or even from certain vegan restaurants and vegan takeout places (I don’t purchase from them personally).
The amount of GREENS I pack in are second to NONE. The oils I use to cook with – no other provider is willing to spend the $$ to use those healthy oils to create your food. The Dirty Dozen veggies – I’m not using conventional produce for those! No Way! My clients will not be loaded up with pesticides! In terms of Macronutrients, I’m not loading you up on rice and quinoa (healthier carbs for sure but still not as nutrient dense as nuts, seeds, veggies, kale etc., but are much cheaper to include), but rather on actual veggies. If the menu includes meat, the meat I use is organic. And the list goes on…
