As a clinical psychologist, I deeply admire Agathe’s approach to the behavioural aspects involved in making a decision to change your life and to start on a new path towards healthy, life-giving and nourishing eating.
Lifestyle factors such as sleep are also highlighted, which is very important. I believe that you need to look at your whole life if you want the best results. The FUELLED Real-Food Recipe Guide is fun and easy to follow and the photos are great! But mostly, I love that it places a heavy emphasis on plant-based foods as that is the way to go for your body, mind and spirit. I made a decision years ago to adopt a vegan lifestyle, and I feel very strongly about the amazing health benefits of eating plant-based – which include improved digestion, increased energy, better sleep, healthier weight, clearer skin, lower rates of chronic diseases, increased life expectancy, significant improvements in general health, performance, vitality, clarity and mental health...the list goes on! And not to mention the numerous environmental and ethical reasons to go plant-based...plus it just tastes so good! And, as the book states: “what is more convincing than pleasure?”
