A recently published article in Forbes states that “According to U.S. News, 80% of people give up on their New Year’s resolutions by the second week in February.” Wow! A whopping 80% of people literally just give up. They drop it. They go ahead and set a new standard for themselves in January and then a month and a half later decide to not do their goals at all!!

So here we are at that point. Here we are at the end of February, just about to enter March, of this new year and new decade…And 2020 – that’s a BIG ONE!! And I ask, so where are you with your goals? Specifically those surrounding food/eating/nutrition and weight/body composition. Have you stuck to it or have you decided you’ll do it later?

As an Integrative Nutrition Coach, Author, Private Chef, Public Speaker and Director at FUELLED Bermuda Ltd., where our mission is to help the people of Bermuda realise massive and measurable success in their healthy eating related goals, I have to say, I see this all the time. So, if you’ve decided to put your goals off to, er, a later date (wink, wink), then I wanted to write a quick post here to tell you about what I believe to be the EASIEST way to get healthy this year. And let’s face it, we would prefer it if the things we truly wanted to do, and get, and become, were EASY. I’m human too. I get it. 

I’ll tell you what it is in a second, but first let me ask you…

  • Have you ever wanted to really “get on track” with your eating…but you felt an internal resistance to change?
  • Have you ever set a goal to eat better…starting tomorrow? And never really got started? Or you put it off and put it off…

Well, so have most of us!! Don’t sweat it. Change can be hard, especially when it comes to eating, and goals can feel too large to tackle sometimes.

So here’s the key to making optimal health, abundant energy and sustained weight loss achievable and EASY, starting today: Take small, easy steps, week after week.

That’s the secret to propelling your life forward in the direction you want it to go.

Inch by Inch, it’s a Cinch” is how I like to think of it.

What I’ve learned through my own experience is that making small, easy shifts in the right direction, starting now and continuing week after week, will have a massive positive effect down the road and get you to where you want to be, with less stress.
