HEALTH IS WEALTH
BE ABUNDANT IN HEALTH
TIP 1: Ensure you’re staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water and eating water-rich fruits and vegetables like bell peppers and pineapple.🥇
TIP 2: Greens are Gold. Try to get a good handful, or more, of greens in your body every day. Organic greens are best. Examples include: kale, spinach, collard greens, broccoli, sea vegetables, parsley and romaine lettuce.🥇
TIP 3: Use coconut or avocado oil to cook with, instead of olive, canola or vegetable oils. That will reduce the amount of inflammation in your body.🥇
TIP 4: Eat more multi-coloured vegetables. These are loaded with antioxidants, fibre, and phytonutrients that will boost your health. Roast them, eat them raw, or make a stew, soup, or stir fry.🥇
TIP 5: Add a probiotic supplement to your morning routine — but not yoghurt.🥇
TIP 6: Whenever possible, use brown, black or another whole grain rice, or quinoa, instead of white rice, white or whole wheat bread, or wheat pasta.🥇
TIP 7: Do your best to replace sodas with alternatives, like sparkling water mixed with a small bit of 100% grapefruit, orange or pineapple juice or homemade iced green tea, sorrel/hibiscus tea or lemon ginger tea.🥇
TIP 8: Take an Omega 3 supplement every day. This is an essential fatty acid that we need for our body to function optimally. Examples include: fish oil, flaxseed oil, Udo’s Omega 3-6-9 Oil.🥇
TIP 9: Swap less nutritious sweets like cookies, cakes, muffins, donuts and chocolate bars for naturally sweet foods and beverages like dried Medjool dates, Bermuda bananas, smoothie popsicles and ginger tea with honey.🥇
TIP 10: Ditch conventionally raised meats! You don’t have to ditch meat altogether, but in the meat section of your grocery store, look for labels that clearly state that the animal was raised organically, not on hormones and, preferably, was grass-fed and “pastured.” Bonus: Switch to organic dairy products too.🥇
